Heart of Hollywood Magazine is a quarterly online publication spotlighting fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle through the perspectives of actors, producers, musicians, designers, artists, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and other inspiring individuals at various stages of their careers.
Issue #35
As the graphic designer for Issue #34, I was entrusted to lead the art direction, including layout, typography, and visuals. This hands-on role allowed me to contribute to every aspect of the publication’s design, from collaborating with the editorial board, working behind the scenes on the cover shoot and designing social media graphics. Through experience, I explored the creative process, enhanced my skills with Adobe InDesign, and elevated my ability to deliver in a professional setting.
Niela Magazine
Niela Magazine is a creative side project I initiated to showcase my written stories from my journalism undergrad at San Francisco State University. This project was my first taste in magazine design using Adobe Indesign and was set to challenge myself to learn a new skill using industry professional tools.
